Tattoo Removal

Tattoo aren't forever, as it has come to be believed. Laser treatments can effectively remove the tattoo from the skin, by using a highly intense beam to break up the color pigments of the tattoo. Each tattoo requires a different course of action for removal, though laser treatments are fairly uniform in this regard.

Q-switched lasers are the widely used now for tattoo removal. The scarring is less and each laser type can remove a particular category of pigments. The process involves placing a hand piece on the patient's skin and applying the beams on the tattoo area. The number of such pulses required, varies according to the size of the tattoo. Multiple visits are required for the complete removal process.
